THE WINERY

The winery was founded in 1888. It is the oldest family winery in Valais and enjoys an exceptional location just next to the famous church of St-Pierre-de-Clages. In 1988, after viticultural and oenological studies, Christian, who represents the 5th generation,  took over the entire exploitation. With a lot of persistence and dynamism, Christian gradually transforms the vines and adapts them to modern cultures. New grape varieties are planted such as Petite Arvine, Humagne blanche et rouge, Syrah, Merlot. Over the years, the estate has grown and today it covers over 5 hectares, on 43 plots, located mainly in the town of Chamoson (known for its excellent terroir and great wines). Being an independent winegrower is a real kno-how because you work on your vines, harvest your grapes, vinify your own wines and then, sell them. A varied and complex profession, which allows the winemaker to follow his passion  for wines.
